Meet-ups
The entire company gathers in person twice a year. We meet up in a different cities. In 2022, we traveled to New York and Toronto. In 2023, Lisbon and Montreal. Most of the planning is taken care of for you; you just need to book your flights. Lodging, meeting space, agenda, and social outings will be planned and communicated well in advance.
There are some scheduled talks at every meet-up, like the Whole Shebang on Monday morning, lightning talks, and peer appreciation. We keep meetings simple. Outside speakers visit sometimes. Otherwise, teams do their own thing. They meet in small groups, grab coffee, or explore the city. Managers also meet with employees one-on-one.
MMeet-ups last one week. You arrive Sunday, work Monday to Thursday, and leave Friday. Attend every meet-up if you can. Missing one is okay if you have a prior commitment.
All Hands
We end each cycle with an All Hands meeting. Everyone gathers online in a Startr.Space in person. We share updates on products, business, new hires, and recent news.
Team members share their wins and stories. It's a time to connect and celebrate.
Todos al Soporte (TAS)
Everyone in the team is encouraged to do periodic Customer Support shifts. We call it Todos al Soporte (TAS). Everyone takes turns on customer support. Talking to customers directly shows us what works and what doesn't. You’ll always have access to our wonderful Support AI if you need help writing clear and correct answers to customer questions with Helpa, our support response tool.
